The Seance

Story was too short. More time was needed to build the characters + their relation. Female voice was spotty. Seemedd she was trying too hard. Young actor sometime overdone. Similarities to The Exorcist but ending left me hanging.I think the story has potential but needs more time. A short film needs to hit you fast,develop, then bring you to conclusion with a definitive end. Mystery voices need to be real and not overdone. Use of 16mm film was a throwback. Special effects/makeup is okay.sometime a little cheesy. The casting of the older gentleman seem appropriate though. I'd like to see this again as a 15 minute film.

Fantastic film! I watched it all i want to see the long version!The cast has skills, the Director Arun has what it takes skills. I can tell. What took me here is my old friend Rick. I went to school with Rick Pisarro, he was always a big personality, always into music and full of energy & acting things. I thought i seen him on TV one time, in some show so i searched for his name online out of curiosity.It turned out to be him. Well, i managed to watch his work in this, "The Seance" film and then i knew it was him for sure...I knew the guy back in high school and for sometime after, we lost contact. Rick Pisarro floored me with his performance, he morphed his accent and everything. I can't wait to see more of the things he does. I'm proud of you man. I was actually shocked, it's like watching another person from the way he really was back from when! Rick you got some serious acting chops, man! SOmething is there and it's making me smile. Don't let anyone say you don't have it kid!You really do! I'm pulling for ya'! GL i look forward to reading and seeing more about your budding acting career! I hope you read this.
