Great educational video

I don't understand the rating of 3. If you consider this movie's target audience, then this video hits home in a big way. Entertaining characters that make learning fun for the little tykes.

Leap Frog continues the learning process they started in the "Letter Factory", with all of the same likable characters introduced there. They continue with catchy tunes, simple concepts and repetition. All things that help in the learning process.

If you're looking for an entertaining movie for anyone over the age of 5 then you're looking in the wrong category.

That's just my opinion.

LeapFrog vs Baby Einstein

Leapfrog and BE Pros:

LeapFrog videos get to the point quickly
It's very relevant to what the 2 year old and 10 month need to learn.

Cons:

The LeapFrog videos drag a little. they're all too slow. I grew up watching LeapFrog videos, and now I found them to be entirely too slow for me. I can watch Baby Einstein videos with no problem.
The animation is okay, not extraordinary. Baby Einstein is better.
Yes, it's useful. Yes, it teaches the basics with fewer thrills. If a child doesn't have Baby Einstein DVDs this is a great gift idea. But, the entertainment value is not the same.

In short, Baby Einstein is more entertaining to kids. I like to see competition in the market. So I don't regret the purchase.

A great movie for really little kids

The Math Circus teaches youngsters about math in a really really lighthearted way. It also contains awesome animation!! I believe it is better than baby Einstein because there are cartoon characters, including leap, Lilly and tad the frogs.

Good but...

This a cute educational video but it's much more fast paced than Letter Factory.

Also they changed Professor Quigly's voice actor which I really don't like. It threw me off and I can't really understand what he's saying.

It seems like they definitely tried to take a more humorous approach with this movie but it feels way more forced than Letter Factory which was perfectly made in my opinion.

I also felt like there was no plot leading the story. In letter factory there was a meaningful story for the kids and an actual beginning, middle, and end. I didn't really feel like they tried to make this great like they could have to make a great follow up.
