My daughter cannot get enough out of this show. We saw it one time and she was already reciting song lyrics and story plots. She is 3 years old. At first I had no idea what she was talking about but then we caught this on our cable's Free Pass option again and I finally figured it out. The show teaches the kids responsibility and how to use their imagination and get along with others. What's wrong with that? Their voices are kind of annoying but who cares, really? I think it's a very imaginative show and the creators should be proud to put out wholesome t.v. It's better than SpongeBob! You'll see no nose or wedgie picking from these friends bugs! The point is, my kid loves it, and that's all that matters.
Given the fact that I'm a month and a half out of a bedbug NIGHTMARE, the title of this show was exceptionally off-putting, but my boyfriend's two-year-old wouldn't stop pointing at the picture of it on Netflix and begging me to play it. While the voices are a little annoying and the costume thing creeps me out (Barney creeps me out, too), the little man LOVES this show. I think we've watched the same three episodes about a dozen times since we found it yesterday afternoon. I personally liked that some of the songs had lyrics on them since the little guy seems very interested in reading. So, while I can't stand this show, the kid loves it and that's what actually matters, is it not? Especially in the wake of s--- like Spongebob Squarepants. I'll take My Bedbugs, title and all, over that crappy cartoon, ANY day.
I love how the program touches all areas for growing children from counting numbers, ABC's, bright colors, playful singing and physical activity (dancing). This show uses everyday life lessons for educating children. We have really seen a growth in digital content that has very little merit. My Bedbugs is not a slick overproduced program or an overly color corrected digital babysitter. I believe this was an excellent attempt of the producers to bring back some warm traditional values where parents would enjoy sitting with their children in front of a Television and share child like adventures. From the episodes I have personally watched, the show combined some adult humor for parents and grandparents as well and the children get a chance to laugh, learn and use their imagination. Three siblings Gooby, Toofy and Woozy accompanied by a talking vacuum cleaner (J. Edgar) go on creative adventures right from their own bedroom. My Bedbugs has it's own preschool curriculum that parents should be looking for.
Have you actually WATCHED the show? Have you actually sat down and watched 5 EPISODES? If you have, then you should already know by now that this show should be WAY higher than a 1/10. The music, bops and earworms! The characters, savage and haha XD funny! For an even better experience watch when stoned. You won't regret it.
My Bedbugs is the #1 kid series in Israel, and now it's here!
It's for children, and it's also for adults. The bedbugs are not like real bedbugs.
I love films.
