Eun-Ho and Dong-Jin are divorced, but they keep encountering each other. Each wonders why the other has not started a new relationship. Eun-Ho contemplates rekindling her relationship with Dong-Jin, but he sets her up on a blind date.
After Dong-Jin sets up Eun-Ho on a date with Hyun-Joong, Eun-Ho becomes convinced that Hyun-Joong is stalking her. She tells Dong-Jin of her fears. Dong-Jin regrets introducing Hyun-Joong to Eun-Ho. She regrets introducing him to Mi-Yeong.
Eun-Ho's coworkers think she is dating Hyun-Joong, while Dong-Jin's coworkers think he is dating Mi-Yeong. Eun-Ho learns why Hyun-Joong remembers her so well. Ji-Ho subverts Joon-Pyo's efforts to reunite Eun-Ho and Dong-Jin.
Mi-Yeong pursues Dong-Jin after seeing how well he treats her daughter. Ji-Ho concludes that Joon-Pyo's anxiety about delivering babies is attributable to the death of Dong-Jin and Eun-Ho's son. Eun-Ho resists Hyun-Joong's interest in her.
Eun-Ho accepts an invitation from Hyun-Joong to eat at his house and meet his father. Eun-Ho tells Hyun-Joong how she met Dong-Jin; Dong-Jin tells Mi-Yeong how he met Eun-Ho. Eun-Ho and Dong-Jin meet while caring for Mi-Yeong's daughter.
Eun-Ho gets upset when she sees Dong-Jin with Mi-Yeong and Eun-Sol. Eun-Ho tells Hyun-Joong about the car crash that killed her mother and the stillbirth of her son. Later, Eun-Ho tells Hyun-Joong that she still loves Dong-Jin.
Dong-Jin announces that he is dating Mi-Yeong, then Eun-Ho announces that she has split with Hyun-Joong. Mi-Yeong realizes that Eun-Ho and Dong-Jin still care for each other, prompting her to leave Dong-Jin much to the dismay of Eun-Sol.
Eun-Ho recounts how Dong-Jin proposed to her on a beach trip. Eun-Ho informs Dong-Jin that she still has feelings for him. After he fails to explain where he went on the day their son was stillborn, she decides to stop meeting with him.
Eun-Ho goes on a date with the professor in her swimming class, only to have Ji-Ho show up with Dong-Jin. Dong-Jin gets drunk after seeing Eun-Ho with the professor. Dong-Jin meets his first love at their high school reunion.
While Eun-Ho is on a date with the professor, his wife shows up and informs him that she will not grant him a divorce even though they are separated. Dong-Jin goes on a date with Yu-Kyung, who later cares for him while he is ill.
Eun-Ho and Yu-Kyung discuss Dong-Jin. He has to leave a date with Yu-Kyung in order to help Eun-Ho. After Dong-Jin and the professor beg the professor's wife to grant him a divorce, she consents but attempts suicide.
After Young-In's suicide attempt, Eun-Ho has trouble communicating with Yoon-Soo. He and Young-In get divorced. Eun-Ho realizes she is not sure whether she loves Yoon-Soo. Eun-Ho realizes that Dong-Jin and Yu-Kyung are falling in love.
Dong-Jin learns that Yu-Kyung has to decide whether to accept a job in Australia by the end of the month. Joon-Pyo professes his love for Ji-Ho, who is wary of the relationship. Eun-Ho learns that Dong-Jin may propose to Yu-Kyung soon.
Dong-Jin and Yu-Kyung get engaged and prepare for their wedding, which saddens Eun-Ho. Ji-Ho and Joon-Pyo become a couple. Eun-Ho tells Yoo-Soo that she will not marry him since his wife still loves him. Eun-Ho attends Dong-Jin's wedding.
Eun-Ho learns that Dong-Jin spent the night their son was stillborn with his remains, which he never told her. Eun-Ho's depression alarms Ji-Ho. Thinking that Eun-Ho may be suicidal, Ji-Ho seeks Dong-Jin's help. He runs after Eun-Ho.
Eun-Ho and Dong-Jin learn that Ji-Ho has tricked them. Dong-Jin and Eun-Ho realize they love each other but worry that they will hurt others. Eun-Ho's father gives her some unexpected advice, which causes her to reassess her choices.
