Turn Out the Light, Then Turn Out the Light

Our spree killer takes Meghan hostage and the race is on to save her life. There is some interesting byplay between the two women which is almost too formulaic. We find out the reason the woman is so driven and how stupid she has been in the past. Ultimately, things get to ground zero.

    • Trivia
Originally conceived as a single episode, the story was expanded into two parts with the previous episode (Spree (2006)). This is the first multi-part story in the series, and marks the beginning of a much more serial, arc-driven format for the show.
    • Goofs
The trawler problem requires that the slower boat continues at the same speed it was traveling in a different direction for the spiral to work. Therefore the application to the search for Meghan is invalid.
