    Homestar Runner

This is a great DVD and everything on it is so funny. If you don't believe me check out the website. Everything on the website is funny. The Brothers Chaps do a great job with updating it every week. The characters are all funny although some don't make any sense. The website is celebrating it's tenth anniversary this year. If you go there check out Strong Bad Emails, toons, games, and the store. I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. The store has a large variety of merchandise, from shirts to bumper stickers. It has it all. So next time your on the computer go to the website. If you've already been there then you know what I mean when I say that it will make you go "Crazy Go Nuts!"

H*R is one of those shows where you can get a clear opinion about something in the first three episodes. That's what I think anyway. I mean, from the first episode on, Strongbad was my favorite character, and Homestar & Strongbad was my favorite pairing. 35 episodes later that still hasn't changed.

H*R is one of those rare shows where you find the dubbers didn't totally screw it all up. They left in most of the violence and fights, and the swears, which you almost never see in dubbed animes.

I never planned to get into it or anything, but my friend told me I'd like it, so I figured "what the hell?" and watched the first episode on YouTube. I was surprised at how good it was, I didn't know what to expect, but I certainly wasn't expecting a lot of action. Don't judge a book by it's cover, I suppose...still, great show!

    This time it's Everything else.

After the release of Strong Bad e-mails volume 1-3.

We later get the Everything Else volume 1 containing several non-strong bad e-mail cartoons from the Homestar Runner website. Including shorts, live action puppet shorts, cheat animation shorts, etc. Like the strong Bad E-Mail DVD. We get to see stuff that was never shown on the website. Including prototype flash animation of already existing Homestar Runner short, abandon ideas, and other stuff. Also includes intros of Mike and Matt Chapman explaining to us why they abandon those ideas to begin with.

Another thing that's worth checking out is the blooper reel of the Peasent's Quest Movie. Which is also included on the DVD in excellent video quality.

So those who liked the Strong Bad e-mails DVD will also like this DVD as well.

In "Looking at a Thing in a Bag", when Bubs turns around to prepare the drinks, the shadow on his head is opposite to the shadow on his body.
    • Quotes

Strong Bad: [on Marzipan's Answering Machine] Uh, yes, hello there, Mrs. Pan. This is... uh, Detective Everybody down here at the station. And, um... and we got your boyfriend Homestar down here and, uh, he's dead. Beca... We killed him, because he was so stupid that we had to shoot him to keep him from being even more stupid. So if you wanna come down and I.D. the body, there's not much left. We put about 37 slugs in him, eh-and things don't look too good. Uh, so if you could come down we would appreciate it, right now... um, to come look at your dead boyfriend.

      [he is clearly heard snickering]

Strong Bad: Okay, have a good day.

    • Alternate versions
