    stay well clear away

I have no idea how this was actually released, a friend of mine acquired it thru means i don't know of, and we watched it while very bored.

We would have been better off staring at the wall.

The acting is so bad it could have been a parody of all the mafia movies. Except it takes itself very very seriously.

Actors act all tough, yet some of them weren't able to grow more than a 5 o'clock mustache.

There some kind of original score, but it is very annoying and repetitive.

It also has absolutely no redeeming feature in terms of any kind of decent story. It's a rehash we've seen dozens of times of a mafia dude who tries to get out.

Be advised : Unless you know anyone working on the project and feel like being supportive, stay 100ft clear of this horrid thing at all costs.

Enjoyable, enlightening and genuinely satisfying watch.

This movie looks like it was shot in DV and edited in Final Cut Pro, but with strong actors and a good story, you can easily prove that the Hollywood method of throw loads of money at something to make it good is flawed.

Legit shows a side the mafia that is rarely portrayed, and the compassion of the modern mafia and appreciation of the past shines through.

Strangely, if you look on the IMDb ratings you will notice the Godfather up the top, but I have to confess that I didn't enjoy those films as much.

A brilliant piece of film making, entertaining to the end.

    Unbelievably awful

This movie stunk so bad, after only 15 minutes of viewing it I pressed eject and needed tongs to pick up the DVD and toss it in the waste basket. I don't know what else to say. I tried to take an objective view from the outset but right from the start the acting is so bad I am convinced I could have done much, much better. Even the usual cliché phrases in a mob movie were badly performed, and I mean, how can you miss on simple stuff like that? I really don't know how this flick was ever approved for release. I think I'll have to do my civic duty and retrieve the disc from the garbage so I can destroy it. I can't allow another person to stumble across it and watch it. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
    innocuous

Oh, I think it has some charm.

Let's get this out of the way...this is not a good movie. On the other hand, it is a lot easier to take than most of the dreck that both Hollywood and the indies keep pumping out. For one thing, it is fairly short (81 minutes) and doesn't take itself too seriously. The overall impression is that the director of your local amateur dinner-theater group wrote a play about gangsters.

If one overlooks the acting, which ranges from pretty bad to acceptable, then you still have some problems with the plot (very simple, with no obvious point or purpose) and the dialogue.

But the music, much of which is original, is pretty good and I don't get any sense of the movie trying to be mean-spirited. I think that a movie can have its "heart" in the right place, but still not be worth watching. You don't feel insulted when you sit through this movie...just a bit disappointed.

Is it worth watching? Not really, but it probably won't hurt you either.
