The lead is a definite anti-hero who looks like John Cougar Mellencamp, No really ! Okay,Let's discuss Melantha Blackthorne and this film.Melantha besides being the fun part of the film, has lines and moves that interest the action fan.
Melantha was also the director-of-photography and captured some unbelievable scenes on film, Thanks to a script that was accurate in it's genre.
The sword prop is very cool emblem and and possessing some unique aspects in story and makes you wanna wear gloves when wielding.
The extras are really fun and capture a 'Grindhouse' aspect, That we saw coming sooner than later.
There are a lot of tributes to other films, Including ' Maniac Cop' and 'Quentin Tarantino films'!
It's a hard knocks life for convict Sonny. First he is sent to prison unfairly for six years and is being moved to a Super-max facility. While at a restaurant for a lunch break during his transport between jails he makes his escape. He meets up with slimy newspaper writer Ross Conrad. The unlikely duo team up to transport a sword known as "The Sword of Destiny" to what is known as "The Order" for safekeeping. The sword is allegedly forged from the very spear that was used to puncture Jesus on the cross. It gives amazing powers to who ever holds it.
Sonny and Ross have to take on Mr. Park, the man who runs all crime in the city. Mr. Park wants the sword and is willing to do anything to get it, including tempting Sonny with beautiful women remember, Sonny has been in prison for six years so he's been mostly with men as of late well we can assume so anyway. Sonny is weak when it comes to the ladies but still manages to fight them off at the appropriate moments, such as just before they are about to kill him.
Will Sonny safely deliver the sword? Will Mr. Park continue as crime-lord in the city? Will Sonny get together with the gorgeous blonde killer and get himself a piece of ..assassin? You'll have to find out for yourself by watching "Order of One".
I'm not a huge fan of the Kung Fu genera but I really like what these folks did. The story, in my opinion is pretty weak, but you can just tell these people made this movie with lots of heart and a ton of passion. It's got some pretty cool special effects, a bunch of great stunts and some well choreographed car chase scenes. It's a tribute to those 70s and 80′s Kung Fu movies, and if you like those, you'll really enjoy this one.
Scared Stiff Rating: 5/10 . "Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!"
This film has zero idea of how action comedies work. I say that mostly because it doesn't even fit the first criteria of the genre... being funny. This film is nothing more than idiotic, mindless, silly, brain dead exploitation. The direction is shoddy, the script is pathetic, and the production value is non-existent. There is absolutely nothing to praise about this flick. There is no potential here and nobody involved with this production should consider continuing their film career. The film definitely gives off the vibe of just a bunch of friends getting together to make a movie and have a good time, but honestly I can't even figure out how they would like it. It is just too moronic and lifeless to be any fun. If someone told me that the filmmakers were trying to make the worst movie they possibly could, I would believe them. I think the "actors" in this film would be better suited appearing in martial arts training videos. If I have to say something positive about the movie I think I would commend the fair amount of people in the film who obviously had some sort of martial arts experience, as they seemed to know what they were doing in the otherwise pathetically stupid fight scenes. Other than that this "movie" is crap. Pure, unadulterated crap.
