If only Nintendo of America loved it like its fans do...

Mother 3... What can I say, I am literally speechless. This game is by far the most emotional game ever, it balances humor with sadness and you know what, it works! It's just that magnificent. The storyline is great, the concept is brilliant, there are just too many ways to describe this game, nearly everything about it is good, in my opinion that is. The Musical score also needs a mention, it pushes the Gameboy Advance to it's limit and the results are just so good they make you cry. Speaking of crying, I mentioned this was the most emotional RPG ever, no lies, despite it's humor and first general impression, this game has some of the saddest scenes ever, when they are combines with depressing musical scores, you really might end up crying a bit.

Overall, great game! Even though it's only available in Japan, a Fan Translation was released, go get it now! The game is just amazing in terms of a storyline. 10/10

Mother 3 is a very fun game and will entertain you for hours if you like Pokémon games you will love mother 3 it is one of the best rpg games of all time because of it characters and music and bosses and Nintendo did a great job at this game because it tell a good story and it took a very long time to make the game because development was hard for that game first it was going to get released for the n64 but that got canceled and it eventually got a released for the game boy advance in 2006 and it was worth the wait but the bad thing about it is it never got a western release 15 years later it still has not get a western release and the closest you will get the English translation is the English fan translation I am happy that the earthbound community translated the game by there self if you had not played this game play it one In you live because it tell a great story I hope someday it get a western release in the future.

This is such a beautiful game and probably my favorite JRPG of all time. I really liked Earthbound too, but Mother 3 is on a whole other level. The story is emotional and incredibly heartbreaking but still can be very silly and cute. The characters are fun, memorable, and super relatable. Making sad moments even more depressing. And I'll even admit this game made me teary eyed multiple times. I even cried during the game's final hours (I mean how can you not?) The music is very catchy and is filled with countless bangers (Master Porky's Theme goes hard but Theme of Love is my favorite) and the game even has a unique battle system where you get additional hits on enemies if you time your button presses to the battle song's beat. Which I find really fun and I wish more games did that. I understand why it will probably never get an official NA release considering some of the themes in this game but I still would highly recommend everyone play this game with an emulator and English patch. It's definitely worth playing even if you never played Earthbound or Mother 1.

For sure one of my favorite games. The gameplay is very much upgraded from the previous installment, the soundtrack's incredible, it's hard but not grindy, and most of all, the plot is heartwrenching and beautiful. The characters have a lot more personality and backstory than mother 2/earthbound as well. You don't have to play the previous installments to know what's going on, but there are some references. If I had to say any cons, I will say that the gameplay is still a bit lacking and it's kinda hard to land musical combos, but at least that's an option so if you're good at tapping to the beat you'll find it very rewarding. Yeah overall, play this game, it's incredible.
