    A great short film.

I've seen this film at the 2006 Roma Independent Film Festival and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The film is marvelously executed. I loved the story, the characters and I was impressed by the beautiful images and the moving soundtrack. The way the film combines the western with the modern-day baseball game is brilliant. I was really surprised by the ending and how everything links together. I also love the choice of the actors. I really believe they truly impersonate their characters well. I particularly like the performance of Michael Kirkhart (who plays the bad guy in the west). He has a terrific presence on the screen even though he does not have any lines in the film. I'm definitely looking forward for the DVD and any future work by these filmmakers. Very entertaining. Highly recommended!

Bill Bitonti the "Batters Coach" seems gay

Batters coach has got to be gay, just look at the way he stands.

This is a great movie I highly recommend the movie to everyone All the actors are great and so is the director.

Great job by the directors I can't wait to see more work from these guys. I wish they would have chosen a more realistic batters coach. I don't know of one gay batters coach in Major League baseball. I couldn't stand they way he portrayed himself it almost ruined the movie for me luckily it was so good besides this major flaw.

I wish this movie could have been longer I really liked everything about this film.

All of the action in the film was pretty good and it was a great depiction of baseball and the wild west very interesting and a great concept for a film

    • Trivia
The baseball portion of the film was scheduled to be shot with many extras that would fill up the stands of the stadium. Due to complications, not enough people showed up and the filmmakers were forced to continue shooting with almost-empty stands. It was only on watching the dailies that the filmmakers decided to undertake the long and challenging journey to fill the stadium using advanced 3D Crowd simulation techniques. A task that many considered "impossible" considering the limited resources.
