Delightful, Delightful, Delightful

When was the last time you saw a movie whose sole purpose was to delight the audience? Date Number One is such a movie. Anyone who is tired of the unromantic and non-comedic "romantic comedies" churned out by Hollywood should check out this fresh and very funny indie. Date Number One contains five separate stories; a contemporary American Ninja goes on a blind date, a woman tries to get her ex-girlfriend and current boyfriend into a threesome, a woman who cannot stop using air quotes breaks up with one man and meets another, an on-again-off-again couple tries to start over by pretending they have just met, and two strangers meet in a book store. All these stories are amusing, and the young cast is superb.
