What is it like towards the end of ones life - the moments before ones life comes to a close? - the lowering explores one possible scenario. This film is a wonderful creative expression - both creepy to watch / think about and technically beautiful at the same time - and to think it was conceived and produced in less than 48 hours! The actual kicker of The Loweing is the use of some special effects in several of the key shots. The score adds to the overall affect this film has on you - as the editing is perfectly timed with the music. You will be thinking of this film for years afterward. The 48 Hour Film Project team that put this together seems to have a great production team with their ability to turn out such a high quality production is such a short amount of time.
