Where Have All the Children Gone?

This one is a preposterous story.

Kids on a school bus are kidnapped. The parents do not call the police. However Monty Nash has been sent down to help out.

The kidnappers demand that the local factory plant is closed down. It makes nerve gas and has recently been working on a new improved formula.

Nash is simply appalled that the parents seem to be so blase about the situation and not called the police. In fact they want Nash out of town.

At least Nash has a theory regarding the kidnappers and goes looking for them.

This is a simplistic morality tale about chemical weapons and listening what children have to say. I guess you have to place this in context. It was made during the middle of the Vietnam war.
