Monty Nash goes to Indian country in Arizona. A native American candidate Tom Chino for the state senate has troubles.

His brother is on the run, wanted for murder in a dispute with a land development.

Some of the locals who have been deputised are a little trigger happy. There is even a witness that Tom's political rival claims has been paid to stay silent.

Monty Nash comes to Tom's aid and quickly discovers a conspiracy.

Monty Nash comes across as a bit of a boy scout in this one. It makes a change of pace with the rural desert setting. The episode highlights the anti Native American discrimination that was prevalent even in the 1970s.

Politics is a dirty business but you cannot get one over Monty.
