This movie is one of the most creative Indie films I have seen. The new Director's cut (2013) is the version that needs to be watched. From the cops to the original scenes, there is non-stop comedy all over the place. This is a live action comedy and the budget was less than $2,000. Let's see Hollywood make a film that you can watch from start to finish on that budget! They can't make a film for less than 100 million, and they still blow. This is an original, not a remake, not some lame copycat comic book. If you like original films, that are unique from start to finish...Check out the 2013 The Cops Did IT.
Lloyd Kaufman is terrific. So are the cops! A definite cult classic!!
