    Irresistibly cute and creative

Pucca may have started life as a Sanrio-style merchandising project for character company Vooz, but her new television show proves there's plenty of possibility behind that round, rosy-cheeked face.

The premise is about as wacky as they come these days, and any fan of The Powerpuff Girls or SpongeBob will feel perfectly comfortable here. Little Pucca is a delivery girl for the Go-Rong Restaurant in the middle of Sooga, an Oriental village that looks decidedly medieval, and yet has modern accoutrements like electricity and plumbing. Pucca is madly in love with the young "pretty boy" Garu, a serious ninja who'd rather build his chi than chase girls. Pucca just can't take a hint, though, and almost every episode revolves around her unflappable determination to steal kisses from her crush.

Barring the way are naughty ninjas who seek to topple Garu in battle, including Tobe, the scar-faced warlord, and Chief, the pretty but petty leader of the Vagabond Clan. Where Garu's impressive swordplay falls short, Pucca's powers of love rise up to save the day (and her man).

There are plenty of colorful supporting characters, some of them clever (like Abyo the Bruce Lee wannabe), and some of them crazy (like the cheerful but clueless Santa Claus). These characters provide not only comic relief but necessary exposition, as neither Pucca or Garu actually speak. In a smart carry-over from the internet Flash animations in which they first appeared, Pucca and Garu express themselves through grunts and giggles only. Nevertheless, their personalities are incredibly rich, thanks to lively animation and musical cues.

Episodes are fast-paced and action-packed, with lots of dramatic close-ups and whizzing single-color backgrounds. Though puppy love is at the show's core, there's a whole lot of running, jumping, and kung fu-fighting going on in the crust. Thankfully, the animators never fail to keep it all stylized, humorous, and exciting - and no one really gets hurt. Whether Pucca has to fight a flesh-eating fern with a taste for ninjas, or stop a volcanic eruption by purchasing a magic crystal from Santa, you can always expect to find her doing what she does best - chasing and cuddling her beloved Garu - by the time the credits roll. Which is comforting, because it proves that the show's makers have effectively built upon the foundation laid by Vooz, and stayed true to the spirit of the characters in a most admirable way. Watch and smile.

    Easy to like.

This show has been remarkably interesting, since its very beginning while it had been aired as 30-second-show during the advertisement time, between programs. We got the chance to see the story of Gaaru, a prideful ninja battling through immense hordes of evil and Pucca, a towns girl who is blind in love with Gaaru, sometimes there is some special appearances, which includes Santa Claus and other not-so-usual characters to be used in a comedy show.

The show mainly develops into the story of Gaaru and Pucca and notorious bizarre environments (a hurricane made from the smoke of a piping hot soup among others) and Gaaru trying to outrun Pucca from delivering her strangling love. Gaaru has also to deal with a very evil ninja from an equally very evil ninja organisation which tries to conquer the world.

The show is very funny with over used jokes but with another angle of viewing it. The humour might be silly but it is guaranteed to not leave you the whole show without you chuckling.

    In resume, Pucca rocks!

Very cute, inspirational, action packed, adorable, and creative.

A simple character from South Korean flash animations becomes the next big thing. I am surprised something so simple became to be known as this! Amazing!

Pucca is an animated kids TV show based off the animated flash shorts and ecards from South Korean company Vooz. It was made when companies like Walt Disney, Jetix, Studio B Productions, and others tried to get Vooz's permission for international distribution. And this TV show was made very well!

The show takes place in Sooga Village, a very small town (in Korea?), and the home of our main characters. Pucca is an 11/12 year old girl who lives in a Chinese noodle shop called the Go-Ron restaurant, and with her 3 guardians who also live and work at the shop. She also is in love with a 13 year old ninja named Garu, who is very skilled and really flexible and silent. There are other characters like Abyo and Ching, who are friends with Pucca, Ring Ring, a fashion girl who wants to dominate Pucca, Destiny, a friendly dragon with a musical talent, Tobe, the supposed main villain of the show, and a lot of others.

The characters in this show and the setting is really cool, including Pucca. She is so cute, so nice, very adorable, and she is also AWESOME. Pucca and Garu's relationship is also cute and very funny as well. The characters are also very creative, including the main villains and other protagonists.

The show's slapstick and violence is funny and done right. Anytime a character gets hurt, it's always put in the most silliest ways ever. I haven't enjoyed slapstick that much since I have watched Tom and Jerry and The Looney Tunes!

The episodes are also pretty cool. One of those episodes is one about fortune cookies, one about a relationship change with Ring Ring and Garu, one where they go to Tokyo, one about Abyo and Ching becoming news reporters, and one involving an actual plot about a never accruing minor character. It has very creative and inspirational plots that anyone would enjoy.

The voice acting is great! Tabitha (who was the actor for Rarity in the most popular My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic show) did an amazing job acting for Pucca, and so have the other actors acting for other characters.

The originality is really really up. This is a very great idea of Kim, Disney, Vooz, and the Studio B production to come up with this idea of a TV show.

I am really stunned to see that the producers and directors unexpectedly stopped making episodes for the second season. If it were to continue, it would've probably been one of the best kids shows out there, Right above SpongeBob! Overall, the whole show is amazing and exciting. I suggest you to take a look at it or even the whole series. Really fun, really cute, one of the best.

    Annoying and Boring

When I saw the Pucca's shorts in Jetix, I though like this (Oh, cute) because I though that this shorts are cute because a girl with a ninja boy go in love, that are decent shorts, but when Jetix decide to green-light to a new series, i was a bit worried, because the two minutes shorts is not the same as seven episodes, when his show premiered, I was really disappointed because the show for himself has too much mistakes and I'm going to say the hits and mistakes one for one:

The Animation: Make in Flash, OK but not Terrible.

Designs: Is the same shape, the protagonist, the enemies, the boy, the girls, the same and very easy to do.

Art: Its OK, could be great, but it's flash.

Characters: Pucca is a little girl like Mary Sue (she can do the impossible for love), but she is Stalker to his forced crush Garu, he is a ninja who wants the honor, but it's very sad to see him run of Pucca who wants to kiss him much times, forced kisses and hugs, and the enemies like Tobe, Ring Ring are very good but they can very bad like villains, a mixed bag but annoying protagonist.

Dialogue: That exist? well exit but very, very few dialogue.

In conclusion: this show is very boring, that will be fun for a few episodes, but can be annoying if you try to follow the show, a guilty pleasure.

    Unwatchable, 1/10

Unwatchable, please watch "Hello Jadoo" instead. Not funny and badly animated. So bad, no words. Overhyped. And so cheap. Bad, bad, bad. Enough said. 1/10.
