Pucca

Unwatchable, please watch "Hello Jadoo" instead. Not funny and badly animated. So bad, no words. Overhyped. And so cheap. Bad, bad, bad. Enough said. 1/10.

I remember 10 years ago when this show first appeared on one of Disney's secondary channels and being enthralled with the animation and thinking Pucca was adorable. But now watching this through the eyes of an adult I'm horrified that this was ever allowed on tv. The entire premise of the show is a little girl forcing herself on an unwilling boy while the rest of the townspeople encourage her behavior. Also anytime Pucca does not get her way she reacts quickly with anger and violence. I absolutely do not recommend this show especially to the intended target audience that is young kids.

This show has been remarkably interesting, since its very beginning while it had been aired as 30-second-show during the advertisement time, between programs. We got the chance to see the story of Gaaru, a prideful ninja battling through immense hordes of evil and Pucca, a towns girl who is blind in love with Gaaru, sometimes there is some special appearances, which includes Santa Claus and other not-so-usual characters to be used in a comedy show.

The show mainly develops into the story of Gaaru and Pucca and notorious bizarre environments (a hurricane made from the smoke of a piping hot soup among others) and Gaaru trying to outrun Pucca from delivering her strangling love. Gaaru has also to deal with a very evil ninja from an equally very evil ninja organisation which tries to conquer the world.

The show is very funny with over used jokes but with another angle of viewing it. The humour might be silly but it is guaranteed to not leave you the whole show without you chuckling.

Its an funny series and is epic in moments and i do say its pretty good animated for its time and the adventures oof gold pure gold. And its an pretty good series with an lovable cast and an good intro. And i do have to say the premise is pretty good an girl who is always wanting to get attention of his love gaaru and the villans are pure gold and my favorite character for his comedic apearences is santa claus so funny anf charming at the same time but the only thing i dont like about this series is the side characters because none of them are interesting to say the least except the chefs those are cool but with that out of the way thats why i rate this series an 9/10 its good its funny but they needed to make their side characters more interesting.

This show is about Pucca and Garu, who are about twelve years old. The entire show, Pucca harasses Garu and tries to forcefully kiss him against his will. She continually tries to force him to fall in love with her, even creating a love potion on at least one occassion to force this affection. This is not "a crush" or "head over heels in love," this is Pucca being completely and unhealthily obsessed with Garu and harassing him. She is, effectively, Garu's stalker. What sort of moral is there to this story? Not only does Pucca stalk Garu, she is REWARDED with "Pucca power" for every kiss she steals from him. This show pushes the idea that if you like someone and they don't return the feeling, you should force them love you and kiss them without consent. Stalking is not something we want to encourage. It's especially concerning to me that the characters are children, meaning this show is likely aimed towards kids. What is this teaching kids? It's teaching that "no" means "try harder." That is unhealthy. I am very glad this show was discontinued.
