    Capital fun

One of the popular farces of the Mid-Victorian period was known to that motion-pictureless age as "Cousin Joe." It was considered capital fun, and can now claim cousinship with the Lubin one-reel comedy in which Lottie Briscoe gives a meritorious portrayal of a country girl and her introduction to city society. Arthur V. Johnson plays a country boy, and ranks with Miss Briscoe in the truth of his impersonation. - The Moving Picture World, March 13, 1915
