    WHY NO CREDITS?

I HATE the new theme song/lack of credits.

I binge watch a shameful amount of television, and ER was the only show where I'd regularly watch the opening credits.

I enjoyed watching the cast evolve, how they padded or thinned out footage depending on the season - sometimes even mid-season...and of course the distinctive and iconic "wee-ooh-wee" of the theme song.

The new theme song is just awful. 5 seconds of excruciatingly generic "urgent" electronic noise. No proper credits. Just a boring, drop-shadow (drop shadow?? Really??) font which gets obscured by the subtitle box.

I HATE the new theme song.

...and finally met the minimum character requirement.

    Sam!

At this point in the series I think Sam is the only good female main cast member left on the show.

There have been so many victims of rape over the past 12 seasons whether it be doctors, nurses or patients and it's always the same story - the rapist gets away it with little to no repercussions. But not this time. Sam knew what had to be done and she was justified to do so.

While others may dislike Sam, I feel like the other 2 female main characters Abby and Neela are far worse (and don't even get me started on Kerry who has been on everyone's nerves since she showed up in Season 2).

Abby's constant every season personality swap is really irritating me to no end. I feel sorry for Luka and how he must put up with her now. I'm glad her and John broke up before they became serious, she was dragging his character down like crazy. It just feels like she doesn't know what she really wants in her life at all and her character seems to take on different spins every season.

And then there's Neela who gets emotional over every other thing. Last season when Gallant died she felt like her grief was above everyone else's and she had put everyone in their place but it's not like her and Michael were even together for more than 6 months at least not screen anyway and she claims she knew him better than her own family. Give me a break.

    • Trivia
The scene in which Luka jokingly suggests to Abby that they name the baby Mongo after his father is a revised version of a cut scene from Season 12 Split Decisions (2006). In that scene, Luka reveals that his father's real name is Steve, however in this episode it is now Josef.
    • Goofs
At the end of season 12 when they are working on Jerry, Dr Weaver walks in and says "Jerry?" Surprised to find him there. She then goes to look at the X-rays and speaks to Abby. Abby leaves the room and passes out. At the beginning of this episode Weaver walks in to the room clearly knowing Jerry is in the room and Abby is not to be seen until Weaver finds her on the floor.

This is not a continuity error. This obviously takes place after last season's episode, and Weaver has left Jerry's room to check on the rest of the ER and is now re-entering it, and therefore knows that Jerry is there and does not expect to see Abby because she'd left previously to fetch something.

Dr. Coburn: You know I want you to have a healthy baby

Dr. Abby Lockhart: Then why do you keep focusing on the worst-case scenario?

Dr. Luka Kovac: It's her job.
