    Great 3rd Part

I only wish there were more. I think that is the best compliment I can give to this series. They sure don't make them like this anymore. The scene with Morris getting high talking to the dog had me in stitches and then him having the munchies haha bloody hell. It's funny to mention though that the series is called Booze Cruise but they only go on one Booze Cruise. Who cares?! It's brilliant comedy.

    Absolutely hilarious

The first two are brilliant and funny in their own right, but this third and final one is the funniest of the lot, and the main credit I feel has to go to Brian Murphy, Maurice is the butt of almost every joke, but is timing and performance are first rate, an underrated talent, I didn't realise just how good an actor he is.

I love how there appears to be a genuine warmth in the performances too, Neil Pearson and Mark Benton both appear to be having the time of their lives on it, both are wonderful yet again.

Once again despite the constant laughs, it's the serious side that catches you out, some genuinely moving and touching moments, very, very well made.

The laughs never get tired, God Bless her.

    gets better

This series just gets better. Again, like the second one, the treasure hunt, it is full of new ideas. OK you got to have the story running with the characters but the plots are new. Maurices Mother in law has died. And, to claim the items he wants, his wife puts him through the mill and they go to North Yorkshire, along with the rest of the Booze Cruisers. Again, things don't go easy and poor Maurice is being mad a prat of by everyone again. I wont say no more, buy this DVD set.

Neil Person is on top form again. and Maurice is at the end of most of his school boy antics. If you only ever buy one more DVD set, buy this one. I cant stop watching them.

    "Elsie, God Bless Her"

In this outing of the Booze Cruisers the old folks Grace and Maurice take centre stage, indeed The Cruise is ostensibly to enable Grace to honour her mums last wishes. To scatter her ashes in her beloved Yorkshire, Maurice wasn't exactly the ideal choice for a son in law.

But according to Grace her dear departed mum has left a will, replete with conditions directly concerning Maurice.

Dave is his own worse enemy and can't always determine what's going on beneath his own nose, especially with regards to Marcus.

Such that Dave completely failed to see Marcus for who he really is, being such a genuine bloke himself Dave sees nothing wrong in running an errands for him.

The original Booze Cruise was merely an excuse for best mates and neighbours Dave and Rob, to get away from their other halves and get Brahms and Liszt.

By the time these best mates head for Yorkshire their'Cruises', have morphed into events they wouldn't have bothered with.

Involving people who they wouldn't necessarily imagine touching, with the proverbial barge pole such as Maurice and Marcus.

    • Trivia
When the group gets lost and are looking at the sign-post, Rob (Neil Pearson) makes a big thing about not being able to pronounce "Wymondham". In fact, Pearson knows perfectly well that it is pronounced Windham: he went Woolverstone Hall school and there he regularly played rugby and other sports against Wymondham College.

[at the crematorium, Grace has invited all the funeral guests back to her house]

      Leone: Are you going back?

Cath: Yes, but not for long. We've got things to do, haven't we, Dave.

[Cath gives Dave a coy look]

      Dave: Yeah.

Leone: She still got you at it, Dave?

      Dave: Oh yes.

Cath: Don't be like that. A lot of men would kill to have as much sex as you're having.

Dave: A lot of men would *die* having as much sex as I'm having.

Cath: Well, it's your own fault.

      Dave: Why's it my fault?

Cath: [to Leone] He's got low motility.

      Leone: Oh, what's that?

Cath: It means he's got lazy sperm.

      Dave: I haven't.

      Cath: You have.

Dave: [shouts] There's nothing wrong with my sperm.

[funeral guests turn round and stare]

Cath: They're just like him - big lazy buggers. They should be whizzing about all over the place. Instead of which they're lying on the sofa watching Match of the Day.
