Finally - a decent S12 episode

Finally! After a run of dud episodes S12 of the show regains a sense of what makes it work, with this fun festive episode that sees the kids stuck in the school.

With lots of memorable moments, and some nice gags, this is an episode that actually works.

Trivia
Bart's permanent record reads "underachiever and proud of it," to which Bart disdainfully says "how old is this?" That phrase was used to describe Bart's character during voice auditions back when the Simpsons were part of 'The Tracey Ullman Show' (indeed, it's what inspired Nancy Cartwright to read for Bart instead of Lisa, as she had initially been meant to).

Goofs
The hole the hamster makes in the windscreen changes position, in some shots it is against the bottom edge of the windscreen, but in others it in the center of the glass not touching any edges.
