    Pots and Pans

While hiking with Sarah in the Topang Canyon, Fiona Lenore Kleinschmidt stumbles and falls over a cliff. David and Keith have troubles with Durrell and Anthony. Ruth leaves George alone in his apartment, and celebrates with Sarah and her friends smoking pot and drinking wine during the funeral of Fiona. Claire finds a job in a conservative company, and her coworkers seem to be very friendly. Brenda is worried with Billy, and her brother keeps going to her house bothering Nate and her missing Claire. Vanessa hires a maid from Canada, but she has problems with the attitude of the girl, and in the end she invites Rico to return home. George understands that his relationship with Ruth has ended.

In this episode, the unbalanced Billy returns to his medications and misses Claire, who is insecure whether she is an artist or not. Nate recalls his first sexual intercourse with Fiona. David unexplainably insists in keeping the troubled boys against Keith will. I hope the dysfunctional and insecure Ruth ends this series alone in a shelter for elders, since I really hate this character. In the end, it seems that things go wrong because there is evil in the world. My vote is eight.

Title (Brazil): "Prece aos Anjos" ("Prayer to the Angels")

    • Trivia
Kathy Bates was quite ill during the filming of this episode and had actually been told to go home by her doctor. She was only partly present in many of the scenes she appears in, the rest of the time her presence being covered by writer Joey Soloway doubling for her in a wig.
    • Goofs
In the episode where Nate's first lover Fiona dies, he says that he was 15 and she was 32. However, Fiona's birth year was listed as 1952, and Nate was born in 1965, which means that when he was 15 she would have been around 28.
    • Quotes

Nate Fisher: Well, you know, love isn't something you feel, it's something you do. If the person you're with doesn't want it, you know, do yourself a favor and save it for someone who does.
