Naturally, there is nothing sacred when it comes to this show, especially when it involves George. When the gang can't get a parking space at the mall while shopping for a gift, Kramer talks George into parking in the handicapped space. Of course, a young woman who was entitled to that spot has a wheelchair accident and ends up in the hospital. They are stunned for a few moments and then go about their selfish lives. Kramer ends up in love with the woman and works to get her a new wheelchair. But there's more to the story involving the guy for whom they decided to buy a present, a big screen TV. But it all gets down to selfishness and disregard for others.
Before the Steller Frank there was Randolph.

Brilliant. Just brilliant. I'll tell you the story and you tell me what you think. The four plan to go an engagement so they go to buy the gift and George parks in a handicap spot because they thought it will only take them few minutes to get the gift. However, and as usual, it takes them long and when they're back a handicapped woman is injured because of the illegal parking and some angry bunch of people smash George's car which is registered under his father's name. Frank was supposed to receive an award for the outstanding service he gives to handicapped people but it's later taken from him because the car is registered under his name. As a punishment, George had to work as a butler for his father which was once George's idea for the pilot. You want more? Well, there is more of course because this is Seinfeld we're talking about here and not just any regular sitcom. George and Kramer go to visit the injured lady and Kramer falls in love with her and they buy her an old wheelchair which later in the episode we see the lady in it going down some hill and not capable of stopping it because the wheelchair was too old. The friend who was supposedly getting engaged, decides to leave his fiancée and the four go back to return the gift for refund and when they search for a parking space, they find one next to a fire hydrant! I guess you need to watch it.
I'm kind of split towards this one.
I believe the idea on paper looks pretty nice but I don't think the story is as good. There are a lot of things happening in this episode but the part I like is everything about the Drake and the social obligations that come with certain events. These kind of stories are Seinfeld's strongest asset. When they can really delve into the social customs everybody experiences.
What I'm not really interested is everything about George and his father. I suppose back in the day they had to introduce Frank Costanza in some way but I feel this episode without him would have been the same. Besides, the whole thing about Frank being a handicap man feels really untrue to his character, although, you can say they didn't really know what the character was going to be. Nevertheless these part of the episode is easily the weakest.
A somewhat disappointing filler.
