    After All That

Lots of work to get to the right place, but it seems that a careless villain ends up foolishly opening himself up. Charlie and his father are an odd pair. I guess he's supposed to be something he's not. This gets a bit tiresome. I never bought the elimination of numbers from that massive sheet. Too many other possibilities.

    • Trivia
Don Eppes' driver's license lists his birthday as July 15, 1967, making him 37 at the time of this episode's airing.
    • Goofs
In this episode Don's shirt changes color during one scene. Well, actually in one moment he wears a brown shirt, in the other moment he wears a black jacket over it. You can see this between the close-ups on the other guys face and his.
    • Quotes

[Charlie laughs as he and Amita leave the train museum, as he realizes the docent has slipped Amita his phone number]

Charlie Eppes: Look at this. "If you ever decide to eat again, call me." The docent. You think you... you think you will?

Amita Ramanujan: Eat? Yeah. Call him? No. He is not my type.

Charlie Eppes: I'm sorry, does that ever work? Just coming out and being so... obvious?

Amita Ramanujan: Well, if it's the right guy, sure. It certainly beats the alternative.

Charlie Eppes: Hm. What do you mean?

Amita Ramanujan: Having no idea whether or not a man is interested in you.

Charlie Eppes: You really can't tell?

Amita Ramanujan: Generally that IS how you tell. You know, they make a move. Otherwise...

[She sees their friend sitting dejectedly at a fountain, and doesn't finish her thought]

Amita Ramanujan: Larry, are you all right?

[Charlie and Amita listen to Larry bemoan having broken the heart of a friend who became more than that recently, and then he sighs and leaves them sitting at the fountain together with a final thought]

Dr. Larry Fleinhardt: ...I don't know. Combining friendship and romance - exceedingly risky.

      [Charlie looks at Amita thoughtfully]
