    • Trivia
The outside of the Sheffield Mansion is actually filmed on location on the Upper East Side at 7 E 75th St, New York, NY. In this episode, Fran accurately makes reference to its proximity to the French Consulate.
    • Goofs
The end makes little sense: first Fran sends Tasha packing, telling her to "go write a song", because Mr. Sheffield made his move on her, and she's happy and no longer interested in hanging out with the rock star. The women talk further, in comes Val and Tasha finds herself a new muse in her. All of a sudden, Fran is very upset because "Tasha dumped her for her best friend". This is contradictory to the beginning of the scene were Fran had lost interest and was sending Tasha on her way.
    • Quotes

Margaret 'Maggie' Sheffield: I don't know, Fran, Tasha's stuff is pretty dark.

      Fran Fine: Darker than this?

      [singing]

Fran Fine: Hate my life, I wanna be a wife, I'm gonna take a knife to your daddy!

Margaret 'Maggie' Sheffield: Fran that was amazing! How'd you come up with that?

      Fran Fine: I don't know!
