    Hilarious as always

It's sad to see Joel not get to show off his invention in this episode, but at least we got some great interaction with the mads in this case. This movie was quite a doozy as it was extremely boring. Luckily, our old friends seemed much more annoyed than we ever were. I admit that this doesn't really have that many memorable lines, but it's just a pleasant episode that perfectly shows what made this show so wonderful. It's also nice to see the cute little pictures the fans drew.

Some of the most noticeable bits were probably, "I've plummeted to my death and I can't get up!" and "I've always never wanted to die on an airplane" followed by "But I've changed my mind". One of the great interactions were, "Brain the size of a walnut" with "The dinosaurs?" and "No, the director". I also liked, "Climb up where the mouth can reach it". Another great one was, "At least you didn't die" (or something like that) with, "We already died! We're in Hell!". Not much to say, just funny all the way. ***1/2

    • Quotes

Joel: That was the nineteen-fifty-one classic "Lost Continent". Interestingly enough, EP Robert Lippert found that he could extend the length of his film by adding meaningless, poorly contrived and blocked walking sequences, or in the case of today's film, mind-numbingly excessive mountain-climbing scenes. He called the device "padding" and as you know, padding has become a staple of movies ever since. Now this.

Tom Servo: Cesar Romero, whom many of you will recognize from the "Batman" TV series of the late sixties, and who was thought to be a spy, was originally to play the role that eventually went to Hugh Beaumont. Director Sam Newfield said, "Cesar just isn't bland enough." We'll be right back.

Crow T. Robot: Uh, Director Newfeld, known nazi spy, cocaine fiend, and pyromaniac, used to amuse the cast and crew by doing terrible things to his dog with a fork. Uh, we'll be right back.

    • Crazy credits
Mike Nelson's portrayal of Hugh Beaumont is credited as "Cryptodad" as the show's Special Guest Alien.
