    A must-see.

While many episodes of "Lights Out" are seriously dated due to the production values due since the show is such an early television program, "Dead Man's Coat" DEFINITELY holds up well today and is still an amazingly clever half hour.

Basil Rathbone stars as a servant who is tormented by his sadistic boss. It seems the boss has a hold over him--and what that is becomes apparent at the end. When this creep of a boss hears about some legend involving the power to become invisible if you steal a coat from a dead man, he is determined to try it himself. And, when it DOES work, he's determined to use this power for evil and to kill off his foes! Rathbone is trapped--he either helps the nutty man or the nutty man kills him or turns him over to the police. However, and here's the rub, there is a HUGE twist at the end--a very juicy one that makes this a remarkable show indeed. See this one.
