Maybe it's just me, but I thought this was a bit stupid.

This is an episode of the very early horror anthology series, "Lights Out". While I have seen some incredibly good shows from this series (such as "Dead Man's Coat"), I must admit that "Dark Image" is very, very poor. In fact, it's kind of stupid and annoying. Now I still give the show a semi-respectable 3 because I can excuse the annoying organ music and crappy production values, as this was the norm in the first decades of the medium.

A man has just married an emotionally fragile lady. She's had a nervous breakdown and seems ready to have another. And, when she looks in the mirror, she sees someone else's image--one that is malevolent! It's all a bit silly--mostly because there is so subtlety at all. Broadly written and broadly acted--it's just isn't very good.
