A Treat for Margot Kidder Fans

I highly recommend this episode for fans of the late Margot Kidder's work.

Margot plays Nikita's real mom, Roberta, who had been told by law enforcement that Nikita had died in prison. But Roberta has a sneaking suspicion that this is a lie, and has hired a private investigator to find the truth.

As the P. I. gets close to discovering that Nikita is, in fact, alive, Section must take steps to keep Roberta from learning the truth. The brilliant, heart-rending performance Margot Kidder gives in the resulting scene is, alone, fully worth the 43 minutes spent watching the episode. A TV performance rarely chokes me up, but this one did.
