    Poker game turns deadly

Murder occurs in one of those big southern mansions in the genteel part of Sparta, Mississippi and the Sparta, PD is investigating. But the process is a bit too slow for the town council.

It's an informal hearing of the town council where Carroll O'Connor and Howard Rollins lay out the facts and question some people who were at an annual high stakes poker game where the homicide happened.

Chief among the suspects was the widow of the deceased Tippi Hedren and a friend of the deceased John Saxon.

This one plays more like an Agatha Christie mystery where all is revealed at the conclusion.
