P.C. All Ventress's experience of a UFO landing in front of his police car and of being abducted bears remarkable similarities to the experiences of P.C. Alan Godfrey, who in 1980, was investigating why a herd of cows kept mysteriously appearing in a housing estate in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, when he reportedly came across a large UFO hovering in the road in front of his car. He went on to apparently lose time, and under hypnosis revealed he had indeed been abducted.
