Bernie Scripps mentions spaghetti growing on trees. This is a reference to a hoax report on the BBC show Panorama on April Fools' Day 1957. The 3 minute report showed Italian farmers harvesting spaghetti from trees and was widely believed by viewers, who only knew spaghetti from tins with spaghetti in tomato sauce.
