The Night Out

Hancock wakes up a little groggy and not sure where he is and how he got there.

In fact Hancock is in the bridal suite of a posh hotel. There is a strange attractive lady on the bed. Is she is wife?

Hancock rather hopes so. Then Gavin (Derek Nimmo) shows up, that his his wife on the bed.

It seems Gavin might have thrown the party, Hancock was the life and soul of it. He is just worried that he might have embarrassed himself.

Hancock did more than that. The party is on him and he is now liable to foot the bill at the hotel. He just does not have the money.

There is nasty sting in the episode. Given the circumstances of Tony Hancock's decline. I wonder if it was wise having a central character who gets paralytic.
