Probably the funniest if not the best Frasier episode I've seen.
In this episode, a woman in a store spots Frasier buying his son Frederick a Menorah for Hanukkah and, suspecting Frasier is Jewish, sets him up with her daughter. The funny begins when the mother and daughter come to Frasier's condo, Martin attempting to be Jewish is pretty funny, along with Frasier trying to keep up the ruse...
But Niles steals the funniest moment in the show! Go watch and see it.

One of the funniest episode a favorite. Of .mine. I laugh all the the way though. To the end a must see
Everyone in the Crane household is forced to pretend to be Jewish to support Frasier's newest squeeze. It is Amy Brennemen who would have her own show, playing a judge. There are some great moments because parallel to this, Daphne is coordinating a Christmas play. Lots of duplicity and close calls which are always great.
Carol Shelley is brilliant and absolutely (in my humble opinion) steals the show - though the whole cast shines, especially in the last half of the show the rapid fire humor makes this one of the best. If I may venture a piece of advice, record and watch it a couple of time. I can almost guarantee you'll discover a few lines that may have slipped under the radar.

- TriviaIt won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
- GoofsRoz refers to Frasier's son Frederick as being "half Jewish". There is no such thing since according to Jewish law a person is Jewish if born of a Jewish woman (as is Frasier's ex-wife Lilith, Frederick's mother).
- Quotes
Helen Moskowitz: So Frasier, you grew up in Seattle?
Frasier: Yes, as a matter of fact I did.
Helen Moskowitz: Such a pretty city. I guess you were barmitzvahed here?
Frasier: Oh yes, yes of course. What a proud day that was. I can still remember reading from the Torah... before the Rabbi... the Cantor... and uh, the Mohel...
Helen Moskowitz: The Mohel?
Faye Moskowitz: The one who did your circumcision?
Frasier: Uh Yes! Yes, I just wanted to show him that there were no hard feelings.
- Crazy creditsWhen the title "Frasier" (in orange letters) is on screen, in the usual accompanying silhouette of Seattle the Space Needle is made up to resemble an animated Christmas tree with blinking lights, and a star on top.
