Quite a boring episode, but I can't stand Carol Lynley!

And gawd, does she keep coming back to Fantasy Island, or what?! It's like she won't stay away. UGH!!!

And that guy who played her John, he looks like Fernando Llamas so much so that, every time he shows up in an episode, I'm thinking "Hey! That's Ricardo Motalban's rival!" But nope. The guy never featured on F. I.

The race car driver story is soporific as hell. Christopher George, his acting as boring as that of his wife Lynda Day. This story was as boring as that from the original episode which Aaron Spelling copied it from.

The hooker story will be redone with Melinda Culea in a Mr. Belvedere-valet episode. Only it ends much worse for her.

Highlights of the show: that gorgeous Caribbean blue wall paint and carpet of Carol's bungalow. This was the beginning of me noticing that they reused this same set over & over & over again. Sometimes, both stories are sharing the same exact set, they only changed the wall paintings, the curtains and the furniture. (Which means that the characters are in different dimensions, using the same bungalow/bedroom at the same time? LOL!)

The "quack-quack" line that Tattoo replies to Roarke's mock-innocent question. (Priceless self-satisfied look on Tatoos's face, watch it for that scene by the pool!)

This was the start of season, it gets thankfully much better from here and, sadly, will produce many much more boring shows down the road (last 2 seasons.)

Carol Lynley's second of eleven guest appearances on the show.
    • Goofs
Tattoo tells Roarke that it's a beautiful day, at the beginning, and he agrees; however, the skies were overcast and completely white behind them, as it was very cloudy in Los Angeles the day they filmed.
