    fluffy entertainment, I guess

Neither story for this episode was very strong, even though there's some average familiar faces like Nita Talbot, Cornel Wilde, Nehemiah Persoff(who's probably the least competent General in history), Bobby Troup, and Yvonne De Carlo, who probably did the best of this hapless bunch. One story had 3 secretaries wanting to become "Charlie's Angels" and solve a caper, and the other one has 4 old geezers wishing to return to World War II to help discover a lost treasure of diamonds. I'm not so sure I would want to return to a Stalag, where I escaped from years ago, as a fantasy, but that's just me. Wilde had the most lines of the group, although the other 3 men hardly talked at all. Regarding the "Angels", the caper isn't worth mentioning too much, as not much of consequence happens; there's a weird scene during this story where women at a pool party start meowing like cats, and it totally didn't fit in at all. Sometimes the 70's make no sense. There was some entertainment in both stories, but not too much for my liking.

"You Think Kommandants Have No Fantasies?"

Three young lovelies (including Melina Naud and Brenda Benet) want to play "Charlie's Angels" and get in deeper than they hoped. Four former World War II POWs want to relive the "good old days" (?) in the little town where they were incarcerated, but their (insane) former Kommandant arrives in a tank and delivers them to a new Stalag III where they have to devise an escape.

A fine little "Fantasy Island" rather light on historical detail. "Hogan's Heroes" was more accurate.

But it has all the fun (with the Angels) and excitement (with the POWs) we've come to expect from "Fantasy Island."

Speaking of "Hogan's Heroes," Nita Talbot, who played the reoccurring crazy Russian lady, also appears.
