The three "Price Is Right vs. The Young and the Restless" eps of "Family Feud" provided much enjoyment for me

I'm going to comment on at least three episodes of "Family Feud" that involved the casts of "The Price Is Right" (Bob Barker, Janice Pennington, Holly Hallstrom, Kathleen Bradley, Dian Parkinson in 1 episode, Kathy "Fingers" Greco in 2) vs. that of "The Young and the Restless" (Doug Davidson, Peter Barton, Lauralee Bell in 2, Victoria Rowell in 2, John Castellanos in 2, Melody Thomas Scott in 1, Jeanne Cooper in 1, Tricia Cast in 1). The first one was from 1991 and one of the survey questions was "Besides Johnny Carson, name a late night talk show host". The "Y and the R" team managed to get most of them but struck out in trying to get the one answer left, particularly when Jay Leno was mentioned as he was just the guest host of "The Tonight Show" at the time. When "TPIR" had their chance, Bob picked the one mentioned by Dian and Janice particularly since Dian had no wrong answers the week she played. Pat Sajak was Barker's pick and that got them to the Fast Money round. Victoria and Holly played that and there was a hilarious moment when, after host Ray Combs asked the last question to the latter which was "A leg that people eat", she replied "chicken" which was already picked so she said "pass". She then exclaimed, "I'm a vegetarian. I don't eat leg" which got a huge laugh especially when Ray said "Wish I were a vegetable". After which he said, "We can edit that" before some brief uncontrollable laughter from him. That was the highlight of that show. Oh, and Holly helped to get to exactly 200 points on the second reply. Two years later, these shows competed for a week again with, as usual, the "Price" team usually beating the "Y & R" team for the FM. It was at this time that the Bullseye round-in which only No. 1 answers were accepted-was added in the show and whenever Peter and Holly were face-to-face there was some kind of mock flirtation going on of which at one point Holly held a dog Peter temporarily gave her (it represented a charity Peter's show was playing for) and answered this question "Name something little boys collect". She replied "marbles". Strike! Peter said "stems". (What?!) Strike! Ray mentioned he collected baseball cards himself which was the right answer. On the show that the "Y & R" team played FM, Victoria and Peter played with Peter making it past 200 on the first answer. In the other episode, Janice Pennington was picked for FM with Holly again second but this time, Janice picked mostly the highest ranked answers so she reached 202 points all by herself which makes her so far (by what I've seen of various celebrity "Family Feuds") the second TV star to win FM singlehandedly, the first was Debralee Scott from 1979 during the Richard Dawson era. Ray Combs seemed to have even more fun than usual during these shows especially whenever Doug Davidson was playing around. No wonder Doug was picked to host a syndicated version of "The Price Is Right" while Bob Barker still starred in the CBS version. Anyway, I highly recommend these "Price Is Right vs. The Young and Restless" versions of "Family Feud". The three I mentioned are all on YouTube...
