Classic episode.

Bob and Dave serve as technical advisors on the set of a Police procedural show, unfortunately they prove more of a hindrance than a help, they are however on hand to deal with an actual murder on the set.

It proves that some great comedies came out of that 1990's.

It's a classic episode, lots of funny moments, and I don't know why, but having three two around people suffering with stress just adds something, poor Derek.

The story of the pair discussing that fancy dress party, what a riot that would have been, the look on the makeup assistant's face is a joy.

Love seeing Anthony Head, a perfect villain, he's smooth, suave, handsome, he has that wonderful accent. Peter Jeffrey is always good value in comedy also.

Noel Edmonds popping up was unexpected.

Goofs
Louis claims that he never has had any make-up on and Briggs reminds him of the "Christmas fancy-dress" party in 1979, when he was Jabba the Hutt and Louis was Princess Leila (he probably got the name wrong). The infamous scene between Jabba the Hutt and princess Leia didn't appear until 1983 in Le Retour du Jedi (1983), four years after the Christmas party.
