    Good all the way around.

This episode begins with a local rancher, Peterson, asking to borrow money at the Express Office. It seems that there is a temporary clerk by the name of Quigley working there for a few weeks. He refuses to give Peterson any money and things get out of hand to where Peterson assaults the clerk. But thanks to Billy Jr and the Judge things look like they will hash out.

In the meantime, a rainmaker rides into town with claims of making it rain. Osgood Flastaff a Shakespeare quoting person and leader of the rain group, puts on a performance to make the white clouds turn dark. During the performance the Express Office is robbed and it looks like Peterson has come back to get the money that was refused. But as always there is more to this story.

This episode turned out better than some of the other offerings. Actor Dick Elliott, who you may know from being the first Mayor of Andy Griffith's Mayberry, does a nice job as the quoting rainmaker. His character brought more of a grown-up feel to this juvenile series. Overall a very nice job done by all. One of my highest rating for an episode in the series.
