I SaY WHAT WHAT IN THE...

This Review was written on January sixth, 2023

About: Tom is accused of a crime that he didn't do. Tom suffers from Carcerophobia and Sissiitus. Huey and Riley The Freeman kids join forces to free Tom from holding to catch the bad guy.

We are introduced to Gin Rummy and reintroduced to Ed Wuncler. They try to help out the boys, but cause more trouble than anything else.

Laugh Meter Rating: A solid 6. A good episode for its message, but Ed and Gin are hit and miss with their apparent jokes. Tom was the funniest because he behaved like a sissy and his backstory was funny.

Our Favourite Uncle is absent, and Grandad too.

Still a good episode for its message. Only those living during that era will understand the message or the absence of the hidden message.

    • Trivia
Gin Rummy's feud with Riley in the car is a direct reference to Jules' (Samuel L. Jackson's) famous "Say what again!" speech during the interrogation of Brett (played by Frank Whaley) in the movie Pulp Fiction (1994).
    • Goofs
When Rummy and Ed walk out the house, Rummy is seen holding a M16, but when they cut to inside the car, Rummy is holding a shotgun.
    • Quotes

Gin Rummy: I always say the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.

      Riley: What?

Gin Rummy: Simply because you don't have evidence that something does exist does not mean you have evidence of something that doesn't exist.

      Riley: What?

Gin Rummy: What country are you from?

      Riley: What?

Gin Rummy: 'What' ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in 'What'?

      Riley: What?

Gin Rummy: English, motherfucker! Do you speak it?

      Riley: Yeah.

Gin Rummy: So you understand the words I'm saying to you!

      Riley: Yeah.

Gin Rummy: Well, what I'm saying is that there are known knowns and that there are known unknowns. But there are also unknown unknowns; things we don't know that we don't know.

      Riley: What?

Gin Rummy: Say what again! Say what again! I dare you! I double dare you, motherfucker! Say what one more time!
