Hard-boiled episode with plenty of action...

A fisherman friend of Charlie Townsend's, a blind man who just lost his daughter in a suspicious drowning, hires the Angels to investigate an exclusive resort named Moonshadows; seems his daughter was an investigative journalist who had uncovered a property takeover scheme involving the County Planning Commissioner, while the heavy who runs the hotel (a menacing, hairy-chested Robert Loggia) is operating the business under a phony identity. Jill poses as the new tennis instructor at Moonshadows, Kelly is a pushy fashion photographer who immediately gets on Loggia's bad side, while Sabrina spills practically the entire covert operation to their blind client who is actually a ringer (a mistake which nearly costs Sabrina her life). Farrah Fawcett-Majors later cited some of the dialogue in this episode as one of the reasons why she wasn't happy with her character, and indeed Jill seems more featherbrained here than usual (especially a line at the end concerning her need to stop at the market). Still, there's a fun massage scene where Jaclyn Smith's Kelly gets worked over by a mad Swede, and Kate Jackson as Sabrina has a genuine scared/angry reaction after she's nearly run off a mountain road. A middling episode of the hit series, but one with some good location work and a strong supporting cast, plus the usual braless jiggle and Smith in a stunning white bikini.

    • Trivia
Bosley mentions a wife in this episode, when he tells Jill that his wife packed brown shoes to wear with his black tux. Not only is his wife never mentioned again, but he goes on to woo several different women throughout the course of the series and even says in one episode when asked if he's married, "Uh.. not lately."
    • Goofs
Bosley complains that his wife packed brown shoes with a tuxedo. In Circus of Terror (1977), when asked if he's married, he replies, "Not lately." In Angels Ahoy (1978) he says he's never been married.
    • Quotes

Dale Parker: The way you look, you shouldn't have any problem at all putting smiles on the faces of those dirty old men that come down here to, eh, straighten out their backhands.

      Jill Munroe: Thanks.
