    A Woman's Perspective

Clint Frome loved his wife. They made promises to each other before he went to war. Then he got shot up, lost his memory, and finally returned home. He couldn't wait to see his wife and be reunited with her! What a reunion it would be!

But he'd been gone for years and his wife had been told he was dead. She grieved for awhile then moved on. Clint had nothing. The only thing he had to hang on to was revenge.

There were a couple issues with this. First of all, if Clint wasn't dead then half of his wife's things were his, right? The will was null and void because he was still alive...

Second, there's no mention of the morality of Clint's wife and her "husband" not being legally married. If Clint was still alive then he and Lydia would still be married, which means that morally speaking Garnie and Lydia could not live as man and wife. Yet this issue was overlooked - perhaps because of the sensitive matter...

    Client: Frome

Clint Frome (Adam Williams) went to fight in the civil war and never came home. Eight years later, his wife Lydia had him legally declared dead and remarried to Garnie Starrit.

Ten years after he was presumed dead. Frome has returned and is shocked that his wife is not his. He has lost everything and is determined to have all his property back, this includes his wife.

Frome hires Clay Culhane as he claims he wrote a will that left some of his goods to his brother. Frome believes that his wife destroyed the will.

When the will is found, it left everything to Frome's wife. Frome was lying to Clay.

It only means one thing. Both the Marshall and Clay know that Frome will target to kill Garnie Starrit.

There is an intense performance from Williams as a desperate Clint Frome. As Lydia tells him, maybe her husband really died in the war. This man is different and full of hate.
