A truly epic depiction of the black death!

This documentary was absolutely epic! It really showcases the macabre horror and gruesome circumstances our ancestors had to contend with during the the 14th century. The black death was a monstrous disease that swept across the known world at the time (Asia/Europe) and killed an estimated 50 million people. It's hard to imagine the brutality of so much death and devastation from a modern perspective, but the History Channel absolutely nailed it with this one!

I highly recommend this to anybody interested in learning about one of the darkest periods in human history! It is a humbling experience and one well worth investing the 2 hours into.
