Ant City

John Kieran narrates this short about ant colonies. There are lots of shots of ants rushing around, ants carrying larval cases hither and yon, and winged ants during the mating season.

Mostly what you notice about this short is Kieran's awful narration. He stammers, he pauses in the middle of sentences, he fills his statements with filler words -- mostly "um", he repeats himself. While we wind up understanding what we're looking at, it requires a lot more attention, and you're left with the impression that no one put much effort into this. It's disheartening and insulting.
