    Amazing . . .

Probably the best short film at the Miami Short Film Festival this past year! Simply amazing! When a broken-hearted woman is left to put the pieces of her life back together, learning to love again . . . it helped me find the piece of me that I'd left behind in past relationships. It was heart-breaking and heart-warming in the same beat.

And his use of subtext . . . there was so little dialogue and yet such great emotion was spilled on the screen.

After viewing this cinematic gem, a few of us still sat in the front row, staring blankly at the somber yet uplifting credits.

It's hard to get your audiences hooked and never let them go in a drama, but this film managed.

Simply amazing. Can't wait to see what's next from this guy. Kudos, Mr. Theney. Kudos.

    Oh My F***ing God!

Allow me to repeat myself . . . OH MY F***ING GOD!!! I don't cry at movies and I really didn't cry at this one either, but my girlfriend soaked my freaking sleeve! Tugging at my girl's heart-strings like that was hard to watch.

The previous user gave you the synopsis, so I won't go into repeating it, but damn . . .

If this is what it takes to learn to love again, I don't want to ever find out about love at all. He made love seem like the most wonderful, beautiful, amazingly detrimental thing on this planet. It was wonderful and dangerous, beautiful and horrible.

And yes, there was so little dialogue. He played everything from the characters' eyes and expressions and . . . it just felt so genuine and heartfelt.

I think the poster before me kept saying AMAZING!!! and stuff like that. All I can say is he took the words right out of my mouth. And AMAZING is still not enough to describe this filmmaker's work. I think his name is Joston or something, like the high school ring company. He kept making that joke. Stupid joke. Amazing f***ing movie.

    Keep up the good work.
