Lake Forest

This film is one of the absolute worst. Even by sub-par standards. The writing is tolerable, however the casting was done with local radio "celebrities" and horrible students from the local theater department. If you have absolutely nothing else to do with your time then go ahead and watch this film. When the film premiered at the local theater, the quality was atrocious. I think that the production crew is headed in the right direction and that they have the best of intentions. Overall, the movie is just what you would expect from some local filmmakers who have no real experience. I have talked to several of the cast members who are embarrassed to say they were in this film. I hope they take what they learned from this project and apply it to their next endeavor.

So I stumbled across this movie on Fawesome, which is a GREAT, new streaming platform. If you haven't already download the app to your phone. It is definitely worth it!

The writing is good enough to produce a unique storyline. Obviously the film is low budget but that doesn't take away from some good acting and crazy twists and turns. After a few minutes, you think you are watching a crime drama but that quickly escalates into something more horrific and gruesome.

Plus, it offers up a very good, and unexpected, twist at the end.

The great thing about low budget b-horror movies is they are cheap entertainment on a weekend and the best part is it's free!
