Interesting Movie

I saw this movie at the 2007 Latin American Film Festival that was help at the AFI in MD. I enjoyed the film but I did find it a little boring at times. The movie is definitely a little dark and depressing, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but one shouldn't go in expecting some sort of uplifting movie. It's great to see movies more movies like this coming out of Latin America. It's also great to see a movie like this that are about the mundane realities of life in middle class Latin America. There are none of the drug kingpins, campesinos, prostitutes, or corrupt politicians that you usually see in a Hollywood version of Latin America.
