    Breathtaking and Spellbinding

I saw Kenmore Avenue at its world premiere at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood. It was part of The Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. I loved the film and was riveted from start to finish. The storyline kept me on pins and needles. The quality of the film made me feel like I was watching a short feature. In actual fact, I was. I really liked the story and I thought the casting was exceptional. The pacing was great and the action built from beginning to end. All in all, Kenmore Avenue was my favorite film of the festival and I look forward to seeing future films by Nunzio Fazio. Go see this film - I highly recommend it.

    Best Short at Sundance

I viewed this film at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Totally captivated I returned again and again…a total of 4 times!

Brilliantly told, this film examines a single night's occurrence from opposite viewpoints of its two main characters. With every screening emerged another perspective, another perception of reality. I'd catch sight of details not observed before, compelling me to return for another screening.

It's a wild ride through the streets of Hollywood. The direction is excellent, the actors incredible. Well photographed and technically exceptional. A short film with a feature length story.

excellent short - would make a great feature film.

I love movies. I see a lot of them.....and when I saw Kenmore Avenue, I knew they had a winner . In this short film by Nunzio Fazio and Lisa Crosato, Lisa also plays opposite Lavani, as one of the leads. The acting is crisp. They are right on the mark, and right from the beginning, totally engaging. This fast paced thriller starts off with a frantic phone call, and a race to aid a friend in trouble. From there, it accelerates into a frenzied car chase around the nighttime streets of Hollywood. Danielli drives the car, yet she is actually being driven by an exasperating Lars, and his outrageous demands. We can feel Danielli's conflict, as she's reluctantly drawn into the vortex of his paranoia - or is it paranoia? She's increasingly agitated by Lars' behavior (as are we) yet, a loyal, worried, helpful, confused, and ultimately exasperated friend she remains. The acting is superb. The talented Ms. Crosato, who gives one

powerful performance, is an actress to keep your eye on. Both she and Lavani , give convincing and expert portrayals of friends on the edge of madness. What to believe? Is this threat real? The last scene: Daylight. The pace slows to a virtual standstill. You're able to breath now. The camera glides along, slow and dreamy towards an ending which serves to only deepen the mystery.

    Realistic and True-to-Life

Kenmore Avenue is one of the most fascinating films I have ever seen.

This Psychological thriller kept me sitting on the edge of my chair. Not only does it deal with issues that are mind-boggling to the average viewer, but it surpasses the imagination with realistic scenarios.

It sent chills going up the back of my spine. Now and then, I had to stop and catch my breath. I just had to realize that I would be holding it again, only to find relief in the fact that another scene would appear bringing me back to another state of consciousness.

I can only say that everyone should see this film . You will not be disappointed!

Kenmore Avenue is a hell of a ride!

Kenmore Avenue is a suspense thriller about two friends who appear to be being followed at night. One of them thinks they are being pursued and the other doesn't. As the film builds momentum, the possibility and reasons why either could be right or wrong teeter-totters until its climactic ending.

Nunzio Fazio, the writer/director, has a unique vision that he brings successfully to the screen in a very cinematic way. Shot with 2 different POVs, the cinematography combined with the flash pacing, keeps one on the edge of their seat in this tightly woven narrative. The way Fazio positions the camera and transitions between scenes using medium shots and close ups gives one the sense that they are in the film along side the two main characters.

Fazio also does a fine job directing the actors. Their performances are enjoyable and layered with nuances. I HIGHLY recommend this film. Go see it!
