    Walker

I would give it a 10 for this 2 hour show. I liked the action they put in there and it showed lots of martial arts fights and those Korean guys had some speed in their arts. The sad part was that Alex got shot and we as audience don't know for sure if she died or just down unconsciously. At one time Alex got shot during a wedding and Walker wanted to ask her something (marry him) but never occurred until she stayed in the hospital a few days. Remember that show? I can't remember the name of the show right now but she did recover from that wound. Now Walker walked out of the building as soon as Alex got shot. The guy that shot her and he was in several episodes and I SERIOUSLY thought he got killed in the last season episode...didn't he? or was he acting a different character this time? Also I thought before Alex got shot, she expressed confusion because that guy that shot her came back to life or something. But then the wound appeared on TV, it was blood and then I just couldn't believe it. Walker couldn't have heard the shot from outside the building and that is why he didn't come back in quickly. I do hope that he'll come back to film a few more of Walker shows. I read the article that he said he wouldn't mind making 1 or 2 shows per year but it all depends on how much his wife and kids need him. Family is more important than anything right now especially the kids are so young and they depend on parents...Even though we as audience really would love to see Walker for another 8 years! ha...I would. He'll be in his 70's if he continued for another 8 years.....Also the good thing was that he had a new office and it looked so modern and spread out. Nice pad for CAPTAIN. Also big Windows that has great view of Downtown Dallas instead of Downtown Ft. Worth. It was time for a change and also nice Dodge Ram Hemi and other cars. It was nice change and its time to hope and pray that he'll either do another series or just another show soon.

Love the show except for the end

This has a two great story lines and the only thing I can object to is the Koreans' stunts. They seemed UNREAL. Looks like this is either the total end of the shows or perhaps an attempt at a comeback. I sure hope it's the comeback because 1) you can't us wondering and 2) the story isn't done yet please! Walker is the same great man we've always known. I missed Tirvette, Alex is wonderful as usual and the Walker's little daughter is adorable. The boy whose father was murdered was an excellent character and he was certainly brave. The young boys were both good, believable actors. I just couldn't believe the Koreans. They were totally evil and their energy was unreal. They were impossible to contain. The one person I missed the most was CJ. He played such a part in the story. I did enjoy the show. It had all the old elements and the light touch of forensics was delightful. I like the fact that its story line wasn't just like all the other forensic shows. Walker, we really miss you.

Chuck Norris is his usual bad ass self.

Walker, Texas Ranger ran for 203 episodes, from 1993 until 2001. Revolving around a tough Texas Ranger (Norris) who fights tireless to uphold the law and maintain the moral balance.

Chuck Norris is his usual bad ass self. He isn't as ruthless as usual, mostly because of his Captain job and his family life with Alex (they're married and have a daughter, Angela, played by Danilee Kelly Norris), but he's still Chuck Norris and he can still kick ass. Sheree J. Wilson isn't in the movie as much as you'd expect her to be. She has an easy back and forth with Norris and it's obvious that they're comfortable with one another.

Clarence Gilyard, who played Walker's partner James Trivette during the show's entire run, appears for a cameo only.I believe Gilyard's cameo is just a cameo because he had other commitments he couldn't get out of when the movie was made.

I'll skip everything else, you'll just have to watch it. Now, the ending. I don't want to give away any major spoilers here, but the movie ends on a major cliffhanger that, at least at the moment, has no chance of ever being resolved. It was probably thrilling when the movie originally aired, but after all these years it's just annoying. Why the hell didn't CBS do a sequel? Why leave the show's fans in limbo over what happened? Wouldn't a sequel pay for itself after rerun airings and DVD sales? I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris and Walker, Texas Ranger fans would want a sequel.

I have some issues with this, but Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire is a pretty good decent TV movie. Chuck Norris kicks ass in it, and it's just generally entertaining. It's just too bad that it didn't get a sequel and we still don't know what happened at the end. We need resolution, man. Maybe CBS will come to its senses, and give the world a real ending to the Walker, Texas Ranger story.

Walker, Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire watch it as soon as you can. Rating: 8.0/10.0

I hated the way it ended.....

I loved the series, and watch it in reruns everyday.... so I couldn't wait for this to come out. The story line was good, but not enough of the series actors in it... It was a lot like the CSI series we see today, which is great... but still missed the actors... the ending was not good... and I was a bit disappointed in that... no a lot disappointed. What happened to Trevets character?? No action from him, and he always brought life to the series... and Nia Peeples??? Her and Gage seemed to be getting together at the end of the series... it isn't a good thing when Hollywood makes sequels and does not even bring up original characters. I guess I am just an oldie lover, but still am so disappointed in the ending. If it makes any sense at all, I still am glad i watched it.... Chuck make another one and make the ending better, and save your wife!!!

    It is about time!

My whole family loves to watch Walker Texas Ranger. We were very sad when they stop filming it. Our youngest son loved watching Walker. He was very sick for three years before he passed away. The time he spent watching Walker helped him though some very hard times. We have always hoped Chuck would come back as Walker. We think he is a very good role model for young people. And in the world we live in they need all the good role models they can get. We were very excited when we heard about this new movie. We hope this is a sign that we will be able to watch Walker every week again. We really enjoyed "Trial by Fire". Can't wait to see the next one. Hope that will be very soon! Misty

The admiral that picked up the Mark 5 computer hardware was out of uniform in several aspects. The long sleeve khaki shirt is a working uniform item and not authorized for wear in public. His garrison cap was worn incorrectly. Lastly and most importantly, he would not have had the full beard the actor had. Beards have not been authorized (without a medical doctor's authorization) for decades in the Navy. Even if he had such permission the grooming of that beard would not come close to the standards set for those with permission. As a side note, Navy admirals are expected to maintain standards above and beyond the average sailor. No admiral would wear a beard period, even if authorized.
