When I read the summary of this video, I thought it sounded a bit like Cabin Fever, which I considered a fun time at the movies. So, I rented it.
What a mistake. Sickness House is a VERY low-budget affair. It seems to have been filmed with the same type of basic video camera that is used to film most children's birthday parties. The lighting was horrible. But worse than all of that is the acting. Just atrocious! It was actually laughably bad.
The basic premise of the movie is that a group of people meet at a wealthy couple's home for New Year's Eve. A virus that causes black marks (which look like they were applied with a magic marker) to appear on the party-goers, makes the revelers go crazy. They start having hallucinations in which they see this strange man walking around. I couldn't quite tell if he was wearing goggles or if his eyes were missing. The special effects were Baaaad. But, this virus also causes them to turn on each other.
Skip this one folks. It's a big waste of time.

This movie sucked so hard I felt I needed to sound off like I have a pair. First off, this is 70 minutes of trash. From the first minute you'll regret putting this DVD in the player. Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews before renting this crap. I hate Brain Damage movies. I have not seen a good movie come through this POS studio. This movie is no exception, it's horrible. Every aspect of this movie is horrible, the acting, the picture ... the acting. There is no redeeming quality in this flick, except for the end. (The ending sucked too, it's just awesome that the movie is over). Please do not rent this. If no one rented Brain Damage movies the Studio execs, actors, producers and directors would die of starvation and the world would cheer. Yahhhh!!!
I could not believe how bad the acting and so called special effects were. I think the budget for this movie was in the region of £10 pounds because it really is that bad. The actors(i use this term very loosely) were probably volunteers and as for the poor script and local joke shop make up it was astonishing how bad this was. The final straw which made me press stop on my DVD player was the in hand squirty fake blood that was clearly being directed whilst being pressed and you could not only see the blood coming out of the capsule you could also hear the capsule being pressed. Honestly avoid at all costs, unless you wish to sit in with a DVD the is not only going to shock you into STOP button submission or have you wishing for a power cut to put you out of your misery.
The SiriusXerxes comment MUST be director Patrick Higgins or some other person involved with the movie's production. That's the only CONCEIVABLE way anyone could give this trash ten stars.
And it doesn't help matters that the user's only OTHER comment was on Under the Gun, ANOTHER Patrick Higgins film... Kinda pathetic.
What even happened? Can anyone shed light on why a disease would make everyone hallucinate the same green dude? Or where the guns in the house came from? Or why the doctor turns green?!
None of it makes sense, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, because its probably asinine anyways.
Please, Patrick, if that is you: Don't make any more movies. The world will be a better place for every idea that pops into your head and you then scrap.

I've seen the movie and the only impression I'm having is of "SICK-ness" Really a low budget film who seems made by a bunch of people that know nothing about horror movies. The scenes are like documentary type. The action is very slow going The main idea is base of an disease that strike everybody and makes all the people hysterical.
Anyway it's a poor poor poor "movie". The audience will decide about it. Can we support that type of movies? The only conclusion is pity. My vote is 1 awful. Your not missing a thing by not seeing this "telenovela"
